For years Luther Springs has been partnering with churches to bring a taste of summer camp to their communities. Lutheroad Day Camps are more than a traditional bible school experience, The difference is our experienced camp staff! Some of the special resources our staff bring include: music, arts and crafts, games nature program and Bible study. They also bring a great love of children and a contagious enthusiasm for sharing their faith. Having cool college kids witness to the power of Jesus’ love in their lives leaves a lasting impression with children and they are super fun to be around!

Provides

-Summer Staff – 1 Area Director and 1 camp counselor per 8 kids
-Staff will be available from Sunday – Friday at noon
-Daily Curriculum and activities plan
-Supplies and resources for the camp curriculum including Bible studies, craft supplies,
music and recreational equipment
-A pre-camp planning meeting as requested by the congregation
-Tools to help your church promote and register your participants
-Up to date liability insurance to protect the partnership with the congregation in the
event of unforeseen incidents..

The Church

Provides

-A local coordinator who will be present at all times during the Day Camp
-A health care coordinator that will take care of any health care needs that arise (can
be the same as the local coordinator)
-Housing, showers and meal arrangements for camp staff.
-Planned special events with necessary transportation. The camp staff can help lead the
event but arrangements need to be made by the church at least 3 weeks before the
day camp.
-Daily morning snacks and beverages for kids and camp staff
-A risk management plan and emergency procedures
-A certificate of liability insurance naming Luther Springs as additionally insured for the
day camp
-Completed registrations, permission slips and health forms for each camper (examples
provided by Luther Springs)
